Job Description
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in electrical equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Working collaboratively with the Engineering & Manufacturing team
- Assisting with the installation of new electrical systems and equipment
- Continually improving maintenance procedures
- Supporting the training and development of junior team members
- Taking part in emergency call outs and shift work as required
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all production equipment
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer - Electrical should have:
- A strong background in electrical maintenance
- Familiarity with 3-phase motors, drives, inverters, sensors, pumps, valves, conveyors and packaging machinery
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Sound understanding of marine products and systems
- Willingness to participate in emergency call outs and shift work
