An accomplished Disputes Associate is required to handle a diverse portfolio of legal cases for a top disputes boutique. The ideal candidate should have between 2-4 post qualification experience across commercial litigation and ideally international arbitration experience.

Job Description

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of litigation cases
  • Represent clients in court, presenting facts in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and agreements
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation
  • Collaborate with the legal team to strategise case handling
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and laws
  • Proactively communicate with clients, keeping them informed of case progress
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all professional matters

The Successful Applicant

A successful Litigation Associate should have:

  • A degree in Law from a reputable institution
  • Qualified in Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 2-4PQE
  • Proven experience in handling litigation cases
  • Ideally some international arbitration experience
  • Strong knowledge of legal principles and practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
