There will also be some additional administrative duties to support HR. This role requires an organised individual who is confident working with legal documents and has a strong eye for detail.Job Description Supporting the in-house legal team to manage the company's global production activities as well as all other areas of the business including licensing, publishing, recording, film/TV, merchandise and digital;Document management and filing including in relation to legal show bibles, contracts and correspondence - both in hard copy and digital formats, including copying/scanning etc.;Assisting with reviewing, drafting and document editing/formatting of legal documents including licences / NDAs / cease and desist letters / clearance forms;Managing the royalty letter process (drafting, distributing and following up on responses);Managing the OnBase workflow, contract database and deal approval system, maintaining up to date records and uploading documents;Managing communications and correspondence with key stake holders and royalty participants (drafting, distributing and following up on responses);Managing task lists, meeting agendas and following up on action points, creating and updating trackers and spreadsheets;Fielding and dealing with both internal and external legal/copyright enquiries (i.e. status of licences/agreements, contract term queries, photography and translation rights queries);Acting as a team coordinator, managing calendars, booking rooms and assisting with administrative duties; andGeneral assistance to the legal team.Assisting with the drafting and issuing of employee and consultancy offer letters/contracts/settlement agreements;Assisting with the drafting and issuing of private & confidential staff letters;Assisting the People Manager with internal recruitment of staff;Document management and management of HR Trackers;Supporting the COO and People Manager with any general employment matters.The Successful ApplicantHighly competent with filing and document management systems, both digital and hardcopy;Excellent organisation skills;Confident and polite phone manner;Highly skilled in drafting, editing and formatting spread sheets, memos, notes, general correspondence and other documents including a sound grasp of MS Word (including track changes software) and Excel.Strong and confident communicator (both written and oral);Excellent attention to detail;Reliable and pro-active;Can maintain absolute discretion;Works well within a team;Ability to multi-task and manage several matters coincidentally and to prioritise workload as appropriate;Passion/Enthusiasm for the performing arts and the theatre industry desirable; andAn understanding of intellectual property, copyright and/or licencing would be beneficialWhat's on OfferA competitive salary of £30,000 per yearA hybrid work model with 4 days in the office and 1 day of remote workAn opportunity to work in the media, arts, theatre and entertainment organisation making a real differenceA friendly and supportive company cultureOpportunities for professional developmentWe look forward to receiving your application and discussing how you can contribute to our dedicated team in London.ContactNellie Russell-HughesQuote job refJN-082024-6514769Phone number+44 207 269 2444Job summaryJob functionLegalSubsectorMedia & AgencySectorMedia & AgencyLocationCity of LondonContract typePermanentConsultant nameNellie Russell-HughesConsultant phone+44 207 269 2444Job referenceJN-082024-6514769
