Job Description

  • Providing legal advice and support on a range of matters.
  • Contributing to policy development and advocacy efforts.
  • Engaging with members to understand their needs and provide appropriate advice.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments within the organisation.
  • Representing the organisation at external meetings and events.
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in agricultural law and regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Supporting the broader goals of the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Adviser should have:

  • A degree in Law or a related field.
  • Experience in environment, public or litigation law or another related area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Dedication to supporting the not-for-profit sector.
