We are seeking a driven and client-focused Key Account Manager to join a market leading business services organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and driving revenue growth.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong market presence.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
  • Complete sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Key Account Manager should have:

  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to determine solutions for customers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • A full, clean driving license
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and CRM software.
