Job Description
- Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies.
- Identify and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality service.
- Enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency.
- Analyse market trends to identify procurement opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members in the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
- Participate in negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports.
- Assist in procurement audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Junior Procurement Consultant should have:
- A degree in business, economics, or a related field.
- Proficient knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills to identify procurement opportunities.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Good understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
