About Our Client

This regulatory team is responsible for monitoring the systems of quality management for audit firms and their compliance with ISQM (UK) 1 and ISQM (UK) 2.

Job Description

  • Undertaking fieldwork under ISQM 1 and ISQM 2 at the Big 4 and top 20 audit firms to benchmark firms and identify what findings the firms should act on to ensure regulatory compliance and promote continuous improvement.
  • Contributing to strategic discussions when performing fieldwork projects and exercising judgement.
  • Contributing to the communication of key findings and concerns to internal and external stakeholders verbally and in writing.



The Successful Applicant

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent accounting/audit qualification.
  • Strong understanding of, and interest in, ISQM (UK) 1 and 2.
  • Some experience at manager level in the audit profession.
  • Strong technical understanding of audit quality.
