They are committed to making sure each person feels empowered to bring their best self to work every day.Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to help lead and develop, a high-performing inventory team, in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility - shaping operations from the ground up. Manage day-to-day administration and develop Inventory rotas.Update WMOS system and file all stock movement paperwork.Support Credit process control and liaise with suppliers and hauliers.Coordinate with Product Supply Planners on stock and ordering.Perform perpetual inventory counts and control PPE/stationery budget.Deputise for Inventory Manager and provide managerial cover.Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness; maintain training records.Manage training bookings and collaborate on learning materials.Assist with staff appraisals and ensure Personal Development Plans are in place.Update training manuals and handle disciplinary investigations and hearings.Drive continuous development of training plans for Inventory staff.The Successful ApplicantThe successful applicant will have the ability to support the Distribution Centre in maintaining a professional, fully trained Inventory team skilled in inventory, admin, and credit management, while ensuring Health & Safety compliance.They will:Have strong negotiating, influencing, and communication skills.Be able to organise and prioritise workloads under pressure.Be able to builds relationships, resolves conflicts, and motivates others.Be experienced in assessment, training, and delivering feedback.Deliver quality work, meet deadlines, and follow safety/compliance.Use resources efficiently, solves problems, suggests improvements and prioritise tasks ethically.What's on OfferAlongside a competitive salary, enhanced pension and life assurance, you'll enjoy an inclusive workplace that truly values its employees, plus a range of benefits that includes:Free meals on-site every dayPrivate Healthcare (after 12 months)Exclusive employee discounts - save on big brandsCycle to work scheme (after 12 months)Plus, flu jabs, dental advice, employee assistance programme, referral scheme to name but a few!Typical working hours 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday.
