Job Description

International Sales Manager position, ideally based in Lancashire. The role focuses on selling products via distribution channels globally, covering various product sectors such as road safety, landscaping, environment and street furniture.Diverse range of products supports opportunities across a wide range of market sectors, the successful candidate will lead a small team and help to identify new and develop existing sales opportunities overseas.

  1. Account Management: Developing and supporting existing distributors.
  2. Leadership: Managing an export sales team.
  3. Market Research: Identifying and on-boarding new distributors and customers.
  4. Sales Strategy: Analysing sales performance by country and finding growth opportunities.
  5. Customer Satisfaction: Managing the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Product Development: Recognising opportunities for new product offerings.
  7. Demonstrations: Using video presentations for building relationships and reducing carbon emissions.
  8. Operational Efficiency: Ensuring long-term growth through efficiency and marketing insights.
  9. Business Ownership: Complying with export legislation and driving business growth.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal International Sales Manager should have experience in export sales, knowledge of international markets, leadership skills, and a commercial mindset, with a focus on innovation and customer support. They should be entrepreneurial, able to negotiate and identify business opportunities, and share values of loyalty, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
