Job Description

As an International Project Director, your main responsibilities will include:

Product Strategy:

  • Developing and maintaining the strategic vision and roadmap for the international operational product portfolio,
  • Ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends, in collaboration with regional leadership.
  • Conducting research to identify market trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to position the organization as a leader in the insurance industry.
  • Ensuring all products comply with regulatory and legal requirements across various markets.
  • Monitoring product performance, analyze key metrics, and drive improvements to meet business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, including resource allocation and risk management.
  • Developing products that will in turn increase the number of customer acquisition, retention, and revenue for insurance products.

Leadership and Management:

  • Acting as the Product Management lead in an agile environment, and collaborating closely with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), business stakeholders, and technology teams.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch new products and enhancements that differentiate the company in the market.
  • Leading and developing a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

As the role will reports to the VP of Transformation who sits in the headquarter, so the right candidate have to possess excellent English. Other requirement includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science / Technology or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in product management, with at least 5 years in the health insurance, travel insurance, or financial services industry.
  • A strong background in managing large-scale technology projects within the insurance industry.
  • Proven expertise in project planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements within the insurance sector.
  • A degree in a relevant field such as technology, business, or project management.
  • Ability to lead and inspire diverse teams.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving organisational objectives.
