Job Description

  • As Interim Sustainability lead you will be responsible for driving the ESG strategy at group level.
  • In addition to the identified core initiatives, you need to be able to drive results, manage programmes, and be agile to adapt in line with new customer and business requirements.
  • Whilst you are here to deliver the ESG road-map as it evolves based on customer demands, your focus is on driving project and programme execution.
  • Based on what is known today, the customer-commissioned projects that this role will support include:
    • Corporate Social Responsibility Directive (CSRD)
    • Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and net zero commitments
    • EcoVadis
    • Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
    • Customer relations: ESG customer reporting, ESG contract negotiation
  • This role also supports key initiatives such as:
    • It also supports the sales and deal teams with customer reporting as part of the tender and renewal processes, and with other key needs
    • Communications
    • Support with DE&I as needed
    • Company social responses



The Successful Applicant

You Have:

  • Demonstrated experience at delivering lean, global, cross-functional ESG initiatives in a fast-paced business
  • Demonstrated experience of project and program management skills: managing critical projects and programs using agile methodology, and aligning key stakeholders along the way.
  • Stakeholder management skills: able to guide stakeholders through our ESG evolution. Manage, coach and enable colleagues to understand our mission and results.
  • Confidence, gravitas and leadership: demonstrable communication and inclusive leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of the ESG reporting and regulatory landscape as it relates to ESG business practices particularly with respect to US, EMEA (EU and UK), and APAC regulation and its strategic impact on business.
  • Data analysis skills: comfortable working with large sets of data across a range of data intelligence systems to identify trends and develop data-informed solutions. Analytical skills for assessing ESG risks, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Measurement capability: experienced in measuring ESG strategies and initiatives, interpreting trends, identifying opportunities, and translating impact to key stakeholders.
