Job Description

  • Managing procurement activities in the highways and construction sector.
  • Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing procurement best practices.
  • Leading and managing a team of procurement professionals.
  • Managing risks associated with contracts and procurement activities.
  • Reporting on procurement activities and performance indicators.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Procurement Manager- Highways & Construction should have:

  • An academic background in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • You MUST have worked within the Public Sector with proven experience in procurement and contract management in the construction industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make strategic decisions.
