A big part of this role will be ensuring the business adopts a LEAN approach across the manufacturing operation, developing the best practice culture and driving efficiency and safety.Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing unitManage the Production & Engineering departmentsEnsure manufacturing processes comply with industry regulationAnalyse, assess and drive the operational performance of the plantDrive new Process development including a continuous improvement system and automation improvements.Champion Quality excellence and right first time methodologyManage capex projects from concept to implementation and validationLead and developing the manufacturing team's skillsChampion and cultivate an accountable and agile cultureWork closely with the others to ensure the company achieves its profitability objectivesDemonstrate strong, inclusive, and visionary leadership, promoting an environment which encourages communication, engagement, team working and continuous improvementCoordinate with other departmental managers to optimise production outputImplement strategies to improve productivity and efficiencyEnsure safety standards are met in accordance with company policyThe Successful ApplicantA Manufacturing Manager within a high volume, fast paced operation with automated processes, available for an imminent start.
