Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsTo partner at a C-Suite levelTo facilitate a potential business saleAbout Our ClientOur client is a high growth SME known for innovation and excellence and have a strong presence in Bristol.Job DescriptionPrepare and present board reporting packs including both monthly management accounts and other reporting for management, board and investor meetings.Responsible for relationships with third parties for accounts prep, audit, tax, R&D tax credit, banking, and insurance brokers.Perform risk management and manage the risk register, encouraging continual focus on risks by the SMT.Continual drive to support and improve cash generation, profit and margins through effective financial control and commercial acumen.Prepare high quality, insightful management reporting including actuals reporting, annual budgets, and quarterly reforecasts.High focus on cash management, including run-rate cash management, accurate forecasting of cash runway, working capital management.High focus on P&L management working closely with the engineering team to keep tight control of capitalisation.Own the 5-year strategic plan and the process of translating the strategic plan into the annual financial plan, aligning both the bottom-up sales and costs view and top-down target.Business partner to the product and sales leads to define business cases for the different service offerings.The Successful ApplicantA successful Interim Head of Finance should have:An accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with significant post-qualification experience.Experience of working in an SME with exposure at board level.Creative-minded, both to identify opportunities and to solve problems.Commercially aware and able to prioritise based on the basis of business cases and strategic value.Be seeking a 3 or 4 day per week role.What's on OfferA daily rate of £350-400.A temporary leadership role in a growing technology business.A chance to partner at board level.The opportunity to contribute to the strategy and success of the company.Part time flexibility of 3-4 days per week.The Interim Head of Finance role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
