Job Description

  • Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage the budgeting process and monitor financial performance against targets.
  • Provide leadership and support to the finance team to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise funding and resource allocation.
  • Support decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Head of Finance should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, ideally in the Not For Profit sector.
  • Professional qualifications such as ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in leading financial teams and managing budgets.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on achieving organisational objectives.

This role is mostly office based so candidates must be able to attend the site in Aberdeen at least 3 days a week
