Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations within the company.
  • Support with year end preparation
  • Implement and maintain effective control procedures.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assist the business with a ERP implementation.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Coordinate with the management team on strategic financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and financial reporting regulations.
  • Evaluate the company's performance using key data.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification.
  • Proven experience in an accounting or finance role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

This role is 5 days a week in the office in Glasgow - no remote working
