Job Description
- Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure across the organisation
- Ensuring the smooth functioning of technological systems
- Developing and implementing IT strategies and systems
- Coordinating with different teams to ensure operational efficiency
- Identifying and rectifying technical issues
- Ensuring the security of IT systems
- Overseeing the implementation of new technology
- Remaining up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in technology
Reports to Senior Infrastructure Manager
Key dimensions
- Ability to create high performing virtual teams across multiple Suppliers to ensure successful Service delivery
- Deliver key components of Infrastructure Management.

- Core Skills: UNIX, LINUX, Solaris, Clustering technologies (Power HA, VCS), Database technologies (Oracle DB, DB2 LUW), NIM, VIOS, API/Middleware technologies, Enterprise monitoring tools (NMON, Nagios, Solarwinds, Topas, ServiceNow)
The Successful Applicant
A successful Infrastructure Manager should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate with various teams
- A commitment to staying informed on advancements in technology
