The role focuses on sourcing and managing IT and marketing-related procurement processes in Rocester, however prior experience as a buyer is required but they are open to different category experience.

Job Description

  • Source, negotiate and maintain contracts for IT and marketing procurement needs.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align procurement strategies.
  • Monitor market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
  • Track and report key procurement metrics for continuous improvement.
  • 5 days on site in mandatory for all staff.
  • Support budget planning and cost management for IT and marketing projects.
  • Resolve supplier issues promptly to maintain smooth operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Buyer - IT & Marketing should have:

  • Experience in procurement, particularly within IT and marketing categories is preferred but not necessary.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • An analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of the industrial and manufacturing industry is desirable.
