An Implementation Manager (Operations Readiness) is needed to assist with the development of operational process changes to ease the successful delivery of a new WMS system (Manhattan) across the logistics network. The role involves active engagement with stakeholders, ensuring operational readiness and successful handover to business as usual.

Job Description

  • Manage the implementation of system and process changes across the logistics network.
  • Engage with stakeholders across all levels to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ensure operational readiness and smooth handover to business as usual.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
  • Manage risks and issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place.
  • Measure the success of implementations and report on outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in implementation processes.
  • Support the wider logistics team as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Implementation Manager (Operations Readiness) should have:

  • Knowledge in logistics operations.
  • Proven experience in project management and implementation (Prince2 or similar).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience of WMS implementation is an advantage (Manhattan is preferred)
  • The ability to drive continuous improvement (Six sigma, Kaizen etc. is advantageous).
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to travel and stay away during the week (2/3 nights when required). This will include nationwide travel and delivery will be focused on one site at a time.
