You will building strong relationships across all departments and will act as a first point of contact for general HR and payroll queries, together with assisting and supporting the Senior Leadership TeamYour main responsibilities will include:Act as the first point of contact for all HR and Payroll queries, managing the HR mailbox on a daily basisProvide support for recruitment and selection of staff.Produce all correspondence and relevant documentation relating to the employee life cycle, including offer letters, reference requests, changes in terms and conditions of employment, resignation acknowledgementsCheck and process all induction paperwork, ensuring right to work checks are completed and flag any concerns to the hiring manager.Process company benefits for employees.Manage absence and performance issuesUpdate and implement new policies and proceduresMaintain the HR databaseAssist in the submission of grant claims and support the Finance Director with CITB levy and Apprenticeship levy administrationMaintain good working relations with all stakeholders, ensuring a discreet, diplomatic approach to ER issues as they arise.Coordinate HR projects such as training and development programs.Handle employee relations issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures.Ensure compliance with employment law and regulations.Participate in the development and execution of HR strategies.The Successful Applicant The successful HR Advisor should have:· Several years experience of operating in an HR Advisory capacity· An undergraduate degree in human resources or a related field.· Knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations.· Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.· Demonstrated experience in handling employee relations issues.· You must be able to work on-site 5x days a weekWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of between £33,00- £35,000Supportive and collaborative company cultureOpportunity to work for a forward thinking, people focused OrganisationWe encourage all interested candidates who meet the criteria to apply.
