Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsExciting opportunity to work at a Russell Group University in LondonAbility to work on strategic projects for London based UniversityAbout Our ClientA London based UniversityJob DescriptionHR Advisor Transformation responsibilities:It is ESSENTIAL that you have had exposure to organisational change and have provided advice in relation to employee relations casework.Project and Transformation:Work with HR Transformation Team to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day project activities.Provide administrative advice for formal change processes, including liaising with the HR Strategic Transformation Partner and stakeholder management teams to set up meetings, send out meeting invites to staff in scope of change, and attend consultation meetings to provide a note-taking service.Manage and undertake small projects as required under the direction of the HR Strategic Transformation Partners.Ensure administrative systems are in place to enable effective and efficient information management and retrieval for projects.Provide regular verbal updates and brief written reports regarding project activity as directed for the HR Strategic Transformation Partners.Organise and coordinate general project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items as directed.Act as the main point of contact for stakeholder queries for some projects.Create and update project spreadsheets as required.Retrieve staff information from the HR information system to undertake financial calculations as directed by the HR Transformation Strategic Partner.Provide advice and guidance on relevant employment policies and practices in relation to projects, passing on queries to the HR Strategic Transformation Partner or other relevant teams as necessary.Advise stakeholders on their project and transformation change plans as delegated by the HR Strategic Transformation Partner.Ensure the HR Strategic Transformation Partner is kept up to date on the progress of all delegated project work.Stay updated on employment legislation and policies.Establish and develop effective professional relationships with stakeholders across the HR DirectorateThe Successful ApplicantHR Advisor Transformation requirements:CIPD, or equivalent through experience.Experience/Knowledge:Providing HR generalist advice and closely work with managers.Providing advice in relation to straightforward employee relations casework.Work on change processes.Stakeholder management experienceAbility to undertake and manage straightforward projects with guidance.Working with HR staff database systems and providing basic reports.Demonstrable working knowledge of employment law and equalities-related legislation.Demonstrable experience of setting and maintaining up electronic administrative systems.Experience of working in Higher Education or a similar public sector environment.Skills/Abilities:Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other databases.Effective communication skills, including influencing, diplomacy, and persuasion.Ability to problem-solve and use own initiative.Proactive, resilient, and flexible approach combined with an ability to adapt to change.Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrable clear written communication skills.Demonstrable effective organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize own workload, meet deadlines, and cope well under pressure.Ability to gain credibility and build professional relationships with stakeholdersWhat's on OfferHR Advisor Transformation:A salary range of £39,000- £45,000Hybrid working 2 days a week on site, located in LondonOpportunity to work in a large, Russell Group universityCareer progression opportunitiesContactKaty SimmondsQuote job refJN-042025-6709299Phone number+44 207 645 1439Job summaryJob functionHuman ResourcesSubsectorHR AdvisorSectorNot For ProfitLocationLondonContract typePermanentConsultant nameKaty SimmondsConsultant phone+44 207 645 1439Job referenceJN-042025-6709299
