We are recruiting for a HR Administrator to provide essential support within the Human Resources department of a Public Sector organisation in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. This temporary role is based in Birmingham.

About Our Client

Our client is a public sector organisation operating in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. They are based in Birmingham and seeking a HR Administrator to join them on a temporary basis.

Job Description

  • Maintain and update employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job advertisements and scheduling interviews.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
  • Handle HR-related inquiries and direct them to appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Produce reports and presentations for the Human Resources team as needed.
  • Coordinate and support training sessions and employee development initiatives.
  • Manage general administrative duties within the Human Resources department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful HR Administrator should have:

  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably within Human Resources.
  • A strong understanding of HR practices and employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
