Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to the insurance team
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all department activities
  • Engage in risk management activities
  • Assist in the development of company policies and legal procedures
  • Cooperate with external legal counsel when necessary
  • Conduct legal research to aid decision-making
  • Prepare legal documents and contracts
  • Report to the senior management on legal matters

The Successful Applicant

A successful In-house Lawyer should have:

  • A degree in law from a recognised institution
  • A qualified solicitor with a UK practising certificate
  • Proven experience working in the insurance industry
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
