Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement, this role oversees a team dedicated to category management and fulfillment, focusing on maximizing value, achieving sustainable savings, and aligning procurement practices with business objectives.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Category Management: Develop and implement category strategies that align with the organization's goals, focusing on long-term sustainability and short-term results. Lead market analysis to identify trends and mitigate risks.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the category and fulfillment teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Develop talent through mentorship, training, and succession planning.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline fulfillment processes to ensure efficiency and scalability, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and key suppliers, to align procurement strategies with organizational needs.
  • Performance & Risk Management: Ensure category and fulfillment activities align with organizational standards, mitigate risks, and stay ahead of industry trends.



The Successful Applicant

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive procurement experience in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic procurement plans
  • Strong supplier relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent professional experience
