Job Description

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team fostering collaboration and growth.
  • Prepare Group financial statements and board presentations with variance analysis and insights.
  • Oversee cash management, FX planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Manage statutory accounts, tax filings, audits, and ensure compliance with global deadlines.
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain key external relationships (auditors, advisers, banks, insurers).
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and growth.
  • Partner with operations to deliver financial support and promote collaboration.
  • Review investment cases and contracts to assess financial viability.
  • Enhance ERP systems and reporting tools for better performance insights.
  • Strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Lead finance-related aspects of critical business projects.
  • Support the Board with ad hoc financial tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in financial leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with financial software and systems.
