Job Description

  • Lead and manage the legal department, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies and compliance programs.
  • Handle complex, significant matters that cut across legal and related areas.
  • Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management.
  • Set internal governance policies and manage the impact of external factors.
  • Deal with external parties (regulators, external counsel, politicians, clients).
  • Attract, develop, direct, motivate and drive performance from the team.
  • Anticipate issues and estimate risks strategically.

The Successful Applicant



  • A successful 'Head of Compliance' should have:
    • A law degree from a recognised institution.
    • A proven track record in a similar role within a professional services environment.
    • Sound judgement and ability to analyse situations and information.
    • Exceptional negotiation skills.
    • Outstanding leadership abilities.
    • Excellent knowledge of legal regulations and procedures.
