Job Description
- Evaluate the quality and performance of garments.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure garment standards are met.
- Provide technical advice on garment construction and fit.
- Develop size and fit standards.
- Manage fit sessions and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical training to production staff.
- Participate in product development meetings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Garment Technologist should have:
- A strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent technical knowledge of fabrics and textiles.
- A keen eye for detail and quality.
- Proven experience within the retail industry, specifically in the fashion department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
