FP&A Analyst

London Permanent £65,000 - £75,000 per year View Job Description
The position will support both the CFO on day-to-day work and on-going projects and therefore will be required to work independently to ensure completion and achievement.

Job Description

Strategic M&A Business Development

  • Commercial and financial review of business opportunities
  • Market and Competitor strategic analysis
  • Financial analysis and support on all M&A and fund-raising projects undertaken in the business including liaison with Investment Banks as necessary
  • Financial modelling



Financial Analysis Reporting and Monitoring

  • Sound monthly financial analysis of subsidiaries and dashboard reporting to ensure Promoter return on both actual and forecasts.
  • Accurate information provided for the promoters as required monthly
  • 12 month rolling forecast and weekly cash and debt forecasting
  • Financial Analysis and monitoring of all verticals supported by the CFO



Balance Sheet Strength and Treasury

  • Maintain dashboard for Debt and equity investment portfolio
  • Identify opportunities on improving balance sheet and efficiency of investment
  • Support on all treasury activities



Board and Compliance

  • Ensure that Information is reported to the timetable and maintain the reporting timetable and track compliance of the Subsidiaries
  • Prepare all Board Papers as necessary
  • Review Subsidiary Board Papers prior to submission
  • Maintain a logical system of retaining all information on both the systems and Sharepoint.



The Successful Applicant

  • Industry experience is essential
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA)
  • Corporate Finance / TS and financial appraisal experience is desirable
  • Commercial and business decision making
  • Able to complete and manage tasks through a global organisation
  • Motivated and driven
  • Resilient and able to work within many different cultures
  • Ability to prepare presentations and show complex information as a series of key messages
