Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate fleet operations ensuring optimal utilisation and maintenance.
  • £80million indirect spend responsible for
  • Leading a procurement team of category managers
  • Lead procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with industry best practices.
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts for major purchases.
  • Coordinate with other departments to forecast supply needs.
  • Implement and oversee a fleet safety program.
  • Monitor and manage procurement budgets and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed about the market trends in the Business Services industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Fleet and Procurement Manager should have:

  • A strong background in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Experience in fleet management within the Business Services industry.
  • Proficiency in negotiation and supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to develop and implement procurement and fleet management strategies.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
