Job Description

Financial Crime Programme Manager responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver financial crime transformation programmes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans related to financial crime prevention.
  • Leading a number of workstreams across Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), AML, KYC and transaction banking.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all banking sectors.


  • Planning, coordinate and drive completion of all project artefacts including the charter, regulatory requirements, project roadmap, budget, testing, deliverables implementation and handover into business as usual.


  • Managing risks and issues and their associated mitigation plans to the C-level Project Sponsor and appropriate committees (SteerCo) to prevent impact or additional risk.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial crime frameworks.
  • Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance on financial crime related matters to the team and senior management.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of financial crime controls.
  • Stay updated on financial crime trends and regulatory changes within the industry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Crime Programme Manager should have:

  • A solid educational background in Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Proficiency in managing financial crime programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of financial crime principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience within Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) preferred.
  • Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well with a team and across various departments.
