Job Description

  • Provide legal advice on financial crime matters, including fraud, anti-money laundering, and bribery regulations.
  • Assist in managing investigations and liaising with regulatory bodies as required.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to financial crime compliance and enforcement.
  • Advise clients on risk management strategies to ensure compliance with financial crime laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and provide guidance on their implications for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Participate in training sessions to raise awareness about financial crime prevention practices.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to client pitches and proposals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Crime Lawyer should have:

  • Qualified lawyer 5+ PQE
  • Proven expertise in financial crime matters within the legal sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK/US financial crime regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively under deadlines.
