Job Description

  • Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
  • Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and Board of Directors.
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models and policies.
  • Carry out business modelling and risk assessments.
  • Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion.
  • Manage budgeting processes and consolidation for all business units.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
  • Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives and operational execution.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Proven experience in finance management.
  • Good communication skills with a strong ability to present financial data.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
