As Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing Financial reporting to the Finance Director and Senior Leadership Team. You will oversee all of the Finance function and manage the operations day to day.

My client are a sub £20 million turnover Manufacturing business who are owned by a larger parent company and are market leaders in their sector.

Job Description

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for submission to the group
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage and complete the year end audit process and statutory accounts
  • Liaison with the auditors and external advisors
  • To hold budget reviews with budget holders
  • Highlight and explain variances against budget
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the relationship with the bank
  • Lead and develop the Finance Team

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
  • Experience of leading and developing a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
