Job Description

  • Overseeing all aspects of financial management including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to maintain the financial health of the organisation.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
  • Managing organisational cash flow and forecasting.
  • Ensuring compliance with the law and the organisation's policies.
  • Engaging with auditors for annual audit process.
  • Contributing to the development of the organisation's strategic goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
  • Professional certification in CIMA or ACCA.
  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller in not-for-profit sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements and general financial reporting.
  • Excellent accounting software user administration skills..
