About Our Client

My client is a key figure in the events and communications industry who has seen a huge amount of growth from private equity investors and is seeking a Finance Controller to be brought on and help steer the company in the right direction. With nearly 5 decades in the events and communications industry, they have built up an extensive client base and work closely with companies across all sectors.

A company made up of high-performers, my client is looking for a switched-on, motivated, driven individual looking to hit the ground running, set their team alight and really make this role their own.

Job Description

  • Become a financial advisor by advising Directors on strategic business decisions.
  • Help drive long-term business growth by identifying key benefits and risks of business plan opportunities.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and review accounts and cashflow statements.
  • Present findings to senior leadership on a monthly basis.
  • Work closely with the MD and C-suite members to ensure action plans are executed effectively.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Experience using Xero accounting software.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and track record creating budgets, reports and presenting to the board.
  • Prior relevant events and communications industry experience.
  • A driven personality, keen to be a part of their company's future success.
