The turnover of the client is circa £200 million.Job Descriptiono Oversee and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionso Oversee and manage bank processing and reconciliations o Daily cashflow management / forecastingo Maintenance of bank accounts and banking portalo Implement and maintain internal controls and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of finance datao Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures (incl. accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany and group charges) o Reconcile Balance sheet accountso Reconcile and ensure accuracy of VAT postings o Support the FP&A team on the technical accounting aspects of the budgeting and forecasting processesThe Successful ApplicantA successful Financial Controller should have:MUST have strong technical knowledge surrounding financial controls, reconciliations, balance sheets and income More on the technical side as opposed to the commercial side Qualifications: Strong academics / Post Qualification.Experience: Strong experience of managing day-to-day finance activity, using accosting software, excellent understanding of internal controls and statutory audit process, deep technical accounting and statutory reporting knowledge (IFRS and UK GAAP), use of Agresso and SAGEACA, CIMA, ACCA qualificationWhat's on OfferA competitive salary in the range of £70,000 to £80,000 per year.A comprehensive benefits package (details to be confirmed).A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Work in a rewarding sector, contributing to education and academic research.Take this opportunity to make a significant impact in a prestigious London-based not-for-profit organisation.
