Financial Controller

This is an exciting newly created role within a fantastic business who are growing from strength to strength.

Reporting to the Financial Director, the Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the finance department.Role will include but not limited to;

• Delivering effective and efficient processes, reporting and governance to the Board of the Group.
• Identifying issues, corrective actions, risks, opportunities and recommendations for action.
• Responsibility for budgeting and forecasting, ensuring all processes are subject to continuous
  review and improvement.
• Accurate and timely reporting of monthly and annual financial results.
• Deliver both historic and forward-looking analysis, risk assessment (including key ratios and
  covenant tests, as appropriate) and recommendations for action, where appropriate.
• Leadership of the finance team to meet workload demands and deadlines through a culture of
  support, can-do and innovation.
• Reconciliation and accurate reporting of monthly revenue, cash and balance sheet.
• Review and approval of balance sheet and other reconciliations prepared by the finance team.
• Co-ordination of forecast data collection, monthly forecasts and other strategic analytics- to
  support business decisions.
• Advise and input to decision-support of bids, new strategies/business development opportunities
  through business case development, modelling and due diligence exercises etc.
• Budget preparation and annual/period planning support.
• Supporting and contributing to data analysis for the business and customer specific requirements,
  including taking a lead role in contract management reviews.
• Statutory accounts, returns and tax pack preparation.
• Liaising with external advisers and coordination of the audit process.
