Job Description

As Financial Controller, you will be heavily involved in the production of management accounts, delivery of a timely audit & the prep of statutory accounts in compliance with FRS102.

You will get involved in forecasting/budgeting and have exposure to a wide array of finance related projects across the business such as the implementation of a new finance system.

As well as the above, learning from an experience FD, you will have huge involvement in the wider running of the business commercially, helping to improve performance and impacting the direction of the business.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ideally ACA)
  • Ideally someone from a top 10, national accountancy practice but candidates from regional firms will be considered
  • If you are ACCA qualified, you will have ideally worked in a service led environment
  • Preferably, experience working with or within an SME environment
  • Accounts prep experience is a bonus but isn't essential
  • Experience working to UK GAAP/ FRS 102
  • Must live local and be willing to be present and in office daily
