Job Description

  • Oversee the company's financial operations within the transport and distribution department.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals.
  • Monitor and control the company's budget and expenditures.
  • Work closely with other department leaders to optimise financial performance.
  • Participate in strategic decision-making at the senior leadership level.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Financial Controller' should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (ACA preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.
  • Non profit and audit experience preferred.
