Job Description

Financial Controller -FTC - Responsibilites:

  • Oversee financial operations including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury.
  • Design and coordinate a wide range of financial reporting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage financial systems/models and carry out business modelling and risk assessments.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing finance team.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
  • Assist in formulating the company's future strategic direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting or related field (aca/acca or cima)
  • Exposure to SAGE 200 (ideally)
  • Proven experience in financial control and strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
