Financial Control Manager

As Financial Control Manager you will be a key member of the financial accounting function, and will be responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations for the organisation. You will have a strong understanding of treasury and tax, in order to provide a variety of additional support to the wider team.Key duties include:

• Managing balance sheet reconciliations project on new software
• Ensure there is a thorough and robust review process for the balance sheet and supporting management information
• Develop insightful commentary and identifying risks and opportunities within the balance sheet for board reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting
• Actively working to optimise the control environment, including improving and refreshing supporting documentation, working with the group internal audit function, and leading on internal engagement with support from head office.
• Becoming a key user and administrator of all financial reporting and accounting IT systems and controls
• Liaise with the tax manager to provide coverage and support, including controlling and managing all indirect tax submissions.
