Job Description
Financial Analyst
- Cost Analysis & Control: Analyze production costs, material costs, and overheads to optimize manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, manage, and track annual budgets and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
- Variance Analysis: Identify and explain variances between actual and budgeted financial performance, providing insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profitability analysis and cost breakdowns.
- Inventory & Cost Accounting: Monitor inventory valuation, standard costing, and cost of goods sold (COGS) to ensure accuracy.
- Capital Expenditure (CapEx) Analysis: Evaluate investment proposals, ROI, and financial feasibility of new equipment or process improvements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Analyst should have:
- Studying toward ACCA or CIMA
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable procedures.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
