We are seeking a dedicated Financial Accountant for our Accounting & Finance department who is committed to supporting our Children's Charity. The role is based in London and requires a strong understanding of systems, treasury, processing and technical accounting.
  • Flexible working arrangements, with 2 days in the office per week.

Job Description

  • Managing financial operations within the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and statements.
  • Assisting in budgeting and financial planning processes.
  • Implementing financial procedures and controls.
  • Communicating with stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Participating in financial audits.
  • Supporting the wider team with financial tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Permanent Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial management software, ideally with Unit 4.
  • Treasury and cashflow forecasting experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent excel skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
