An exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a leading manufacturing/supply organisation in Bradford, responsible for all aspects of financial management, financial accounting and group accounting, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, and budget and forecasts preparation.

Our client is a renowned organisation in the manufacturing/supply industry. Based in Bradford, they have sites across the UK and Ireland as well as Europe.

Job Description

  • Oversee all financial and accounting operations
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Manage annual budgeting and planning preparation
  • Manage month-end and year-end close process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Be the main contact for external auditors

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident personality who can build relationships across finance and the business
