Job Description

  • Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax, and audit functions.
  • Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO and CFO.
  • Supervise investment and cash management strategies.
  • Analyse company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets.
  • Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organisation.
  • Optimise the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
  • Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Manufacturing experience would be ideal, as well as SAP experience
  • A strong technical background
  • Strong leadership qualities with a hands-on approach and lead by example style
