Job Description

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for stakeholders.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit materials and liaise with auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial systems.
  • Support the leadership team with financial insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely data entry.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Experience of line management in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
  • An affinity with all things transactional.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector or a similar environment is a bonus!
