Job Description

  • Lead and manage the accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management and implement strategies to optimise financial performance.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to senior management to guide strategic planning.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax filings and adherence to all relevant financial legislation.
  • Manage and develop a small team within the accounting and finance department.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and stakeholders to maintain transparency and accuracy.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency within the department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Experience in managing financial operations within the property industry or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools to streamline operations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
