The Finance Manager will work within the Accounting & Finance department of a not-for-profit organisation, primarily responsible for overseeing financial operations, implementing strategies, and supporting organisational objectives. This role is based in Warrington and is a fixed-term contract position.

Job Description

  • Oversee the finance and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Implement financial strategies in line with organisational objectives.
  • Produce accurate financial reports and statements.
  • Manage budgets and financial plans.
  • Monitor all financial transactions and audit financial data.
  • Engage with stakeholders and present financial information as required.
  • Assist in the decision-making process through financial insights.
  • Ensure that all financial operations align with the organisation's mission.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • QBE, part-qualified or above.
  • Extensive knowledge in financial management and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
