Job Description

  • Oversee daily financial operations and manage the accounting team.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Conduct risk management and investment activities.
  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Support the organisation's strategic goals by providing financial insights and analysis.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • A professional qualification such as ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, risk management, and investment strategies.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial colleagues.
