Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting & Finance Department
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and planning
  • Review and interpret the sales/production plans to formulate the financial aspects of the budget in order to accurately represent the business unit(s) objectives
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting or related field
  • Qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Proven working experience as a Financial Manager
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
